Ms. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, bilingual social worker. She has over 13 years' experience within non-profits. She has worked with a variety of populations such as LGBTQ+, individuals with substance use issues, victims of sexual abuse and violence within intimate relationships, etc. Since 2019 the Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. The clinic is now offering Telehealth Health services. Ms. Rivas belongs to the Perinatal Behavioral Health team that works with pregnancies women and postpartum mothers. She has been trained in trauma-informed and adult EMDR. She also offers group and private counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Therapy Program and referrals to specialist care and a Women's Support Group. Amanda is an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer, helping to find permanent homes for animals that are homeless. She is committed to with the Best Friends motto, Save Them ALL and wants to make Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city. Amanda is a person who makes the best of her day.
